How are decisions made about the support my child will receive?
The class teacher and SENDCo will discuss the pupil’s needs and what support would be appropriate and best match needs. The class teacher will follow the graduated response and use the Suffolk Inclusion Toolkit to profile and identify need. Different pupils will require different levels of support in order to close the gap to achieve expected levels. Every term parents/carers are invited to reflect on their child’s targets and discuss next steps and provision. Pupils are also given the opportunity to be part of these discussions and reflect on their achievements and progress as well as setting next step targets.
