BENTLEY CEVC AND COPDOCK PRIMARY SCHOOLS WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
We incorporate website accessibility standards into the design and maintenance of our website to ensure accessibility for all people regardless of ability or method of access.
What we’re doing about web accessibility: To help us make our website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone.

Our website is a content managed site and is managed by Bentley and Copdock Primary Schools. We have done our best to ensure as many people as possible are able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
● Zoom without the text spilling off the screen on Chrome and Firefox
● Change colours, contrast levels and fonts – To actively be able to do this on the website, users would have an accessibility plugin on their browser.
● Hide movements on web pages - To actively be able to do this on the website, users would have an accessibility plugin on their browser.
● Change all fonts to a readable font. This can sometimes assist with text to speech reading applications. To actively do this on the website, users would have an accessibility plugin on their browser.
● Listen to most of the website using a screen reader - The website is coded with accessibility in mind with clearly defined sections.
● Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard or with accessibility plugin on their browser.
● Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software using an accessibility on their browser.
We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
