Information to Share

Victorian Celebration Day/Macmillan - just a reminder that parents are welcome to join the celebrations from 2pm today. Thank you for all the wonderful cake donations this morning, they all look delicious.

Tea Towels - due to the popularity of the tea towels the school will be placing another order.  Please sign up for any additional tea towels required on the refreshment stall this afternoon or email into the office by Wednesday 1st October.  Delivery will be within 2/3 weeks for additional tea towels.  Payments can be made from Monday 29th September midday on Spider.

Uniform Order - please see attached uniform order, please email or send into the office, deadline is Monday 6th October.  Payments on Spider or cash in envelope addressed to the office please.  Remember, we need your order form as well as completion of the payment.

Menu Change - please see the attached poster containing a change to the menu on Thursday 2nd October.  There is no need to pre-order. Jacket potatoes and sandwiches will still be available.

Arbor - just a gentle reminder to those who have yet to complete their check of Arbor - please do so by the end of the month.  Remember to check all contact details, medical or dietary information and consents.  Thank you!

Lost Property - please take a look on the lunch trolley at the end of the day - there are already a lot of tops.  PLEASE ensure you have labelled your child's clothing and ask them to check they've got everything at the end of each day.

Dogs at the Gate - could we kindly ask that dogs wait on the opposite side of the road to the gate, as not all children are comfortable around dogs and the pathway needs to be kept clear for the children to access the gates.  Thank you for your understanding.

Please check the attachments for some information and our Local events and clubs page on the website for things going on in the community.- we are always adding new information from 3rd parties for you to consider - there may be holiday clubs or sporting opportunities, or events taking place in local villages.  We also include courses available to parents on a variety of topics.

REMINDERS!!!!

Please ensure your child has a named coat or waterproof in school for break times - we do like to get outside even if it's a bit drizzly.
Earrings must be removed for PE lessons.  Please check the uniform policy to ensure the correct earrings are being worn.
Please ensure anything brought into school is labelled.  Look out for lost property on the lunchbox trolley each evening.

words.PNG

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary.  In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context.  If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
