Copdock Weekly Update 20/06/2025
Information to ShareWCET Festival - Foxes will be attending the music festival at Trinity Park on Tuesday to showcase their learning duing the year. The festival will finish at 3pm so if your child is being brought back to school after the event they should arrive by 3.30pm traffic dependant. If your child has younger siblings at school and you have no one else to collect them, they can wait in the office. High School Transition - those year 6 children who will be attending East Bergholt High School in September have 2 transition days next week. Parents are responsible for transporting their children on the day. KS1 Colchester Zoo Trip - all KS1 children will be attending the trip to Colchester next Thursday. Please see the letter sent previously for details of what is required. PLEASE NOTE today is the deadline for returning slips and making payment for this trip. PTA Summer Fete - next Sunday sees the summer fete. Children are invited into school on Friday in non-uniform in exchange for a bottle for the blind bottle stall. Please support our PTA by returning all raffle ticket stubs and monies by Friday, any unsold tickets should also be returned, also, if you would like additional tickets, please let the office or a PTA member know. Uniform - as new uniform was sent home this week, perhaps you're having a sort out of the old clothes. If you've got any 2nd hand uniform in good condition please pass it onto the PTA. 2nd hand uniform is available anytime for a few pounds. |
REMINDERS!!!! Please ensure your child has a named coat or waterproof in school for break times - we do like to get outside even if it's a bit drizzly.Foxes need to remember clarinets for their lessons on Tuesdays. Reception children need to wear Forest Schools clothing on Fridays and bring welly boots. Earrings must be removed for PE lessons. Please check the uniform policy to ensure the correct earrings are being worn. Please ensure anything brought into school is labelled. Look out for lost property on the lunchbox trolley each evening. |
Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
