Advent Elves
If you would like to be an Advent Elf, then read on! As part of our Advent Service we will be launching our countdown to Christmas by continuing our good deeds with a reverse Advent Calendar. This is a charitable initiative where instead of receiving something each day, we donate an item daily in the lead-up to Christmas. This year our Christmas tree will have some tags on for families to collect. Each tag will have a number to represent the days in December until we finish school on 19th. If you would like to take a tag, please donate a small Christmas treat on that day of December. As we open the doors on our advent calendar each day in school, we would like it to feature a photo showing these acts of kindness. As the children give a gift, they will receive a small token of appreciation to recognise their contribution, just like in an advent calendar.

REMINDERS!!!! Please ensure your child has a named coat or waterproof in school for break times - we do like to get outside even if it's a bit drizzly. Earrings must be removed for PE lessons. Please check the uniform policy to ensure the correct earrings are being worn. Please ensure anything brought into school is labelled. Look out for lost property on the lunchbox trolley each evening. Muddy Shoes - If your child has a spare change of shoes they can change into for playtimes this would help to keep our classrooms clean. Alternatively, plimsols for indoors and outdoor shoes for play. Thank you as always for your support. Art Tokens - tokens will be printed in the Ipswich star and East Anglian Daily Times. Simply cut out the tokens and drop them into the office for the school to have a chance of winning some art supplies. There will be bonus tokens during the week of 27th October. |
