Information to ShareChristmas Performance Tickets - thank you for completing the surveys for the children's Christmas performances. Unless you have had an email to say otherwise the number of tickets you have asked for on the survey are confirmed. Siblings of toddler age and under will not require a ticket but will need to sit on a parents lap. There will be no hard copy tickets issued this year but your name and allocated number of tickets will be on a list when you enter the hall. If you have accessibility issues and require a seat near to the door or require a chair to sit on instead of a bench please email the office so this can be arranged. Please be aware that any photos or videos taken of your child at the performances MUST NOT be shared on any social media platforms. Please ensure phones are switched to silent and can we ask if younger siblings get restless during the performance they can be taken out of the hall for a short break to allow the children performing to concentrate on their performance. .Thank you for your cooperation.
Christmas Evening Performances - to give the children chance to get changed and ready for their evening performance please can KS1 children be brought to school at 5:30pm on Monday 15th December and KS2 children at 5:45pm on Tuesday 16th December.
Christmas Clothing - children are invited to wear a Christmas jumper on Wednesday 17th, when we will enjoy our Christmas Lunch (normal uniform apart from the jumper.) On Friday 19th the children can come to school wearing Christmas clothing for the last day of term.
Singing At The Lodge - on Wednesday afternoon the KS2 children will be walking up to The Lodge to sing to the residents.
Family Assembly Friday 19th December - please be reminded that our family assembly on the last day of term will be held a 9am.
Foundation Stay & Play - please note that there will be no Stay & Play on Tuesday 16th December.
Tea towels - if you would like to purchase any 150th Celebration tea towels they are £4 each, please email the office.
KS1 Multiskills (indoors) Afterschool Club - please complete the survey on Spider available from 5pm today if you would like your child to attend. This is FOC and runs for 5 weeks from Monday 12th January to Monday 9th February (5 weeks). 3.15-4.15pm each session. There are limited spaces so this will be on a first come first served from the survey.
Lego Club- Yr 1-Yr 4 chn. If you would like your child to attend please see attached poster for details of how to join.
Photo Permission - as we are now using Social Media more please can we ask that you check all photo permissions on Arbor. If you would like to amend any of your preferences please contact the school office.
Dinner Money - as we approach the end of term please ensure all outstanding dinner money has been paid up to date. If you are unsure if you owe for any meals please contact the school office.
Medication - if your child has any medication in school please ensure this is collected and taken home before the end of term.
Lost Property - we once again have a build up of lost property items on the lunch box trolley, please can you take a moment to see if any of it belongs to you, as at the end of the term all items will be passed onto the PTA.
Please check the attachments for some information and our Local events and clubs page on the website for things going on in the community.- we are always adding new information from 3rd parties for you to consider - there may be holiday clubs or sporting opportunities, or events taking place in local villages. We also include courses available to parents on a variety of topics. |

REMINDERS!!!! Please ensure your child has a named coat or waterproof in school for break times - we do like to get outside even if it's a bit drizzly. Earrings must be removed for PE lessons. Please check the uniform policy to ensure the correct earrings are being worn. Please ensure anything brought into school is labelled. Look out for lost property on the lunchbox trolley each evening. Muddy Shoes - If your child has a spare change of shoes they can change into for playtimes this would help to keep our classrooms clean. Alternatively, plimsols for indoors and outdoor shoes for play. Thank you as always for your support. Art Tokens - tokens will be printed in the Ipswich star and East Anglian Daily Times. Simply cut out the tokens and drop them into the office for the school to have a chance of winning some art supplies. |

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
