Information to Share

Payments - please ensure any remaining PGL payments are made by end of term where possible. Please contact the office if there are any problems with this. As we approach the end of term it will also be helpful for school dinners to be paid up to date. If your child is in year 6, all lunches must be paid by the end of next week please.
If you need to know how many dinners are outstanding please contact the office.

Learning Journey Reports - these will be coming home on Monday with your child. We ask all parents to read the attached letter carefully, especially if you live in different households. We hope you will celebrate this year's successes with your child.

Photos from Events and Activities - we like to share photos of trips and events with you so you can discuss the experience with your child. To share these safely, we will be adding them into a secure part of the website that can only be accessed by parents once signed in - group discussion. You should see a notification on your phone when something has been posted or you can sign in via a computer. We will only be sharing photos on Instagram and Facebook if children's faces cannot be fully seen. This is to reduce the risk of shared images being manipulated if accessed by the public via these sites.

We hope you have all enjoyed seeing photos and updates about our recent activities in school.

Please check the attachments for information and also our Local events and clubs page on the website for things going on in the community - we are always adding new information from 3rd parties for you to consider - there may be holiday clubs or sporting opportunities, or events taking place in local villages.  We also include courses available to parents on a variety of topics.

REMINDERS!!!!

Please keep up to date with payments - whether it's dinner money or PGL.  Thank you.

Please ensure your child has a named coat or waterproof in school for break times - we do like to get outside even if it's a bit drizzly.

Earrings must be removed for PE lessons.  Please check the uniform policy to ensure the correct earrings are being worn.

Please ensure anything brought into school is labelled.  Look out for lost property on the lunchbox trolley each evening.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary.  In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context.  If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
