SATs - please remember Foxes need to be in bright and early next week for breakfast ahead of their SATs. A reminder to the rest of the school to be quiet during the mornings to enable Foxes to focus, thank you. Library Re-opening - thank you to those who attended our relaunch and author visit today. Children will be able to experience the new books with immediate effect. Obviously books cannot be taken from the library until agreement has been registered via the Arbor system as notified a few weeks ago. KS1 Milk - just a reminder that the week your child turns 5 they are no longer eligible for the free milk delivered to school. However, you can pay for them to receive milk in school - see attached leaflet. Absence Requests Reminder - can you please ensure if you are requesting an absence for your child that you request an absence form from the office at least 3 weeks in advance of the period of absence. Thank you. Bikeability - year 5 children took part in Bikeability this week. Well done to those children, comments from the Bikeability team were that the children were well behaved and attentive, a credit to the school and their families. Year 4 Sleepover - please ensure you have completed the survey on the website. Arbor Consents - thank you to everyone who has logged into Arbor. We have 93% usage from parents which is excellent, but we are striving for 100% and we really need to ensure we have all photo permissions up to date. If you have yet to give your consent, please do so now so that we have up to date information as we go into a busy period of events where photographs are likely to be taken a lot. If you have been unable to get into Arbor, please do let us know so that we can sort any issues out and get you access. Leavers Hoodies - if you have yet to respond to the year 6 hoodie email, please do so by next Friday. |
REMINDERS!!!! Please ensure your child has a named coat or waterproof in school for break times - we do like to get outside even if it's a bit drizzly. Those Swimming need their kits on Mondays. Foxes need to remember clarinets for their lessons on Tuesdays. Reception children need to wear Forest Schools clothing on Fridays and bring welly boots. Earrings must be removed for PE lessons. Please check the uniform policy to ensure the correct earrings are being worn. Please ensure anything brought into school is labelled. Look out for lost property on the lunchbox trolley each evening. Playground sales - we still have lots of seeds on sale for 50p per pack. We are also looking for donations for any of the books on the trolley. |
