Livestock Project - we are excited to be welcoming our sheep to school on Monday 16th March. If anyone feels they would prefer their child not having direct contact with the sheep please let the office know.
The Big Plastic Count - School/Eco Council have delivered an assembly about The Big Plastic Count. The Big Plastic Count is the UK’s biggest investigation into household plastic waste. From 9-15 March, thousands of people, schools and communities will be counting the plastic packaging they throw away. By counting every piece of plastic packaging you throw away in a week, you'll help pressure the government and companies to reduce plastic waste and create a better future for young people.
Your child will be sent home with a count sheet to record how much plastic is thrown away at home during the course of the week. Once your household has completed the investigation, your child can record your results at home via our unique class links. Please join School/Eco Council to create a fairer future for young people - thank you!

REMINDERS!!!! Please ensure your child has a named coat or waterproof in school for break times - we do like to get outside even if it's a bit drizzly. Earrings must be removed for PE lessons. Please check the uniform policy to ensure the correct earrings are being worn. Please ensure anything brought into school is labelled. Look out for lost property on the lunchbox trolley each evening. Muddy Shoes - If your child has a spare change of shoes they can change into for playtimes this would help to keep our classrooms clean. Alternatively, plimsols for indoors and outdoor shoes for play. Thank you as always for your support. |
