Important Information to Share
New Term This is looking to be a busy end to the year. Please ensure that you keep reading the weekly news for information regarding events and trips. Please can we ask that deadlines for money and consent slips are met to ensure we can make payments to venues and travel companies where relevant. Please check the diary dates below for events coming up. Sports Day An email was sent out on Tuesday regarding sports day on 18th June. Please check what colour team your child is in and details for the afternoon. Please also complete the survey regarding the Grab and Go lunch on offer - this needs to be completed by the end of Thursday 12th June please so we can let the kitchen know numbers. There will not be any orders taken on the day so we will assume that you will send a packed lunch for your child if you do not complete the form. Attendance The school have had our termly meeting with our Education Welfare officer this week and our attendance figure is 94.6% which is a great improvement. Obviously illnesses incur and can't be helped but well done to everyone. Our late figures are minimal too. Please check our Local clubs and events page on the website for things going on in the community .and over the half term break. - we are always adding new information from 3rd parties for you to consider - there may be holiday clubs or sporting opportunities, or events taking place in local villages. We also include courses available to parents on a variety of topics. PTA Zoom meeting Online zoom meeting on Monday 9th June at 8:30pm to discuss events for the term ahead. REMINDERS!!!! Yr 5/6 Bikeabilty - A reminder to send in consent forms for your child to take part in Bikeability please
Photo Permissions - A reminder to complete the permissions in Arbor please. If you have not yet logged in to Arbor, please can we ask that you do log in or let us know if you have any issues with this.
Year 4 sleepover - A reminder to complete the questionnaire on the website please. Absence requests- reminder to parents - Can you please ensure if you are requesting an absence for your child that you request an absence form from the office at least 3 weeks in advance of the period of absence. Thank you
Lunch and Morning Club payments - Please ensure that all payments are paid weekly as taken - thank you for your support
After School Club - Monday after school activity club resumes on Monday for 5 weeks from Monday 9th June to Monday 14th July, (missing Monday 23rd June), at £2 per week = £10.00. Payment can be made via the website before the first session please. Leaving the school site at the end of the day - A reminder please that parents need to keep a close eye on children at the end of the day and please can we ask that you leave the site by 3.30pm so that the gates can be locked. thank you!

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
