Important Information to Share  

 
Wolves Stay and Play
Wolves class will be holding a weekly Stay and Play - this will be every Wednesday starting on Wednesday 29th April; 2:45 - 3:10. A Stay and Play session is a special opportunity for you to spend time in school learning alongside your child. During the session, you will be able to explore activities together, see how your child learns in the classroom environment, and support their development in a fun and relaxed way. These sessions also help build your child’s confidence, strengthen your relationship with them, and give you ideas to continue learning at home.Siblings are welcome, but please be aware that they are your responsibilty whilst in the classroom and ensuring they are with you at all times.
 
Change to menu on Wednesday 29th April
Please see attached a change to the menu on Wednesday, please note that the chicken in the wrap will be fajita seasoned,not plain, sandwiches and jacket potatoes will still be available. .
 
Football Festival 8th May
Please can parents of children taking part complete the survey on spider regarding attending and taking your child home from the event.
 
Suffolk Show
By attending the Suffolk Show, visitors are supporting the educational events that the Suffolk Agricultural Association host throughout the year, including grants to enable schools to attend the School Farm and Country Fair which classes have attended in the past. See leaflet attached. 
 
We hope you have all enjoyed seeing photos and updates about our recent activities in school.
 
Please check the attachments for some information and our Link to local clubs and events page on the website for things going on in the community.- we are always adding new information from 3rd parties for you to consider - there may be holiday clubs or sporting opportunities, or events taking place in local villages.  We also include courses available to parents on a variety of topics.

For those that are paying for PGL in instalments, please be reminded that the next installment is now due please.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful

Wolves:  overarm and underarm

Mondays - Swimming lessons for some Yr 2 / 3/ 4 children
 
Mondays - Wolves Forest school (all day) and Hedgehogs PE at Copdock (pm).
 
Mondays - KS2 Football After School club at Copdock - pick up for children who have signed up, at 4.15pm from Copdock school.
 
Wednesday afternoons - KS2 Cricket and Padel at Copdock
 
Wednesday afternoons - Wolves class stay and play 2.45 - 3.10pm
 
Fridays 2.45pm - Family sharing assembly - please see Family Assembly Spring/Summer for children sharing this term.
 

Monday 4th May - Bank Holiday

Friday 8th May - Football Festival at St Joes - children taking part have been notified, times to be confirmed

Monday 11th - Thursday 14th May - Year  6 SATs week

Monday 25th - Friday 29th May - Half-Term

Thursday 11th June - Sports Afternoon

Tuesday 23rd June - Talent Show

Wedensday 24th and Thursday 25th - EBHS transition days for Yr 6
