Important Information to Share  

 

Swimming after half term

Please check the letters sent out on Wednesday advising whether your child is swmming next term, please contact the office if any queries.

Talent show auditions
Talent show auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday after half term. If children need any specific resources for their audition then they need to bring them into school on Monday please. No clothes are required just props. Children will then be notified if they have secured a spot on stage for the big day!
 
Lunches and Morning Club payments
Please ensure all payments for this term are up to date over half term. Thank you

Please check the attachments for some information and our Link to local clubs and events page on the website for things going on in the community.- we are always adding new information from 3rd parties for you to consider - there may be holiday clubs or sporting opportunities, or events taking place in local villages.  We also include courses available to parents on a variety of topics. - Please some flyers attached to this weeks newsletter.

Sports Day - 11th June
A reminder of sports day - check the colour team that your child is in, and please complete the survey on spider to order a lunch for your child , or advise us that you will bring a picnic lunch. 
 
Year 4 Sleepover

Save the date! Friday 19th June. Please complete the survey to allow us to prepare for the event but we hope all Year 4 children will be able to join us. If you have any questions, please do get in touch.

School Governor vacancy - spread the word!

Bentley CEVC & Copdock Primary School Federation is seeking enthusiastic and committed governors to join our friendly governing body. If you share our vision of helping every learner become a confident individual, successful learner and responsible citizen, and can offer time, curiosity and a collaborative approach, we’d love to hear from you. Governors do not need specialist experience — just a commitment to partnership with school leaders, a willingness to ask probing questions and a desire to make a positive difference to our pupils and community. If any parent knows someone from the community who might be interested, please pass on the information. A reminder to Year 5 parents to complete and return the Bikeability forms after half-term and please complete the survey on spider -  any Year 6 child who missed it last year can take part this year.

A reminder to complete the consent on the survey and make the payment online please
 
PGL Payments

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful

Mondays - Wolves Forest school (all day) and Hedgehogs PE at Copdock (pm).
 
Mondays after half term -  KS1 Multi-skills club for children who have signed up.
 
Wednesday afternoons - KS2 Cricket and Padel at Copdock
 
Wednesday afternoons - Wolves class stay and play 2.45 - 3.10pm
 
Fridays 2.45pm - Family sharing assembly - please see an updated Family Assembly summer 26 for children sharing this term.
 

Monday 25th - Friday 29th May - Half-Term

Monday 1st June - uniform order due in

Thursday 4th June - Adders visit to 'The Hold'

Friday 5th June - family sharing in class - parents are invited in to look at your child's work in the classroom - 2.45pm (2.30pm if you have more than one child).

Friday 5th June and Tuesday 9th June - Practice sports day - children to wear PE kit please
