Advent Elves
If you would like to be an Advent Elf, then read on! As part of our Advent Service we will be launching our countdown to Christmas by continuing our good deeds with a reverse Advent Calendar. This is a charitable initiative where instead of receiving something each day, we donate an item daily in the lead-up to Christmas. This year our Christmas tree will have some tags on for families to collect. Each tag will have a number to represent the days in December until we finish school on 19th. If you would like to take a tag, please donate a small Christmas treat on that day of December. As we open the doors on our advent calendar each day in school, we would like it to feature a photo showing these acts of kindness. As the children give a gift, they will receive a small token of appreciation to recognise their contribution, just like in an advent calendar.
