Important Information to ShareDinner money and morning club
As we approach the end of term please ensure all outstanding dinner money and morning club has been paid up to date. Remember to pay for the pre-ordered Christmas lunch. If you are unsure if you owe for any meals please contact the school office. Thank you for your support.
Medication
If your child has any medication in school please ensure this is collected this afternoon and taken home for checking dates etc..If you return any medication in the new term, please ensure that the bottle is labelled and you check the dates, and that a permission form has been completed.
PTA request
Thank you for supporting the PTA Christmas raffle. If you were one of the lucky winners of a hamper, please can you return the empty basket to school once you’ve taken all of the lovely prizes out. Raf’s Grandma will re-use the baskets for the next raffle so she’d really appreciate them being returned. Many thanks
Attendance - you will have received yesterday by email your child's attendance information for this half term. This is just an over view for your information. Any queries please email into the office.
Return in Spring Term
We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday 6th January for the Spring Term. Please take time over the break to check that all items of clothing, including PE tops, lunch boxes and water bottles are named. Please check your child's Arbor account and ensure all contact numbers, permissions and health details are correct.
Mondays
Please note that Adders class will not be going to Copdock for PE on a Monday afternoon next term, they will be remaining at Bentley. If you had previously collected your child from Copdock, please note that collection will be from Bentley.
Hedgehogs class - Year 3 / 4 children will still go to Copdock for PE / swimming after lunch. Collection can be from either Bentley or Copdock, but if from Copdock please let the office know. They will also be having Forest School on another day in the week - details next term.
Wolves class will still go to Copdock for Forest school - Collection can be from either Bentley or Copdock but if from Copdock please let the office know. (KS1 children signed up for ASC should be collected from Copdock at 4.15pm. ).
Swimming
As per the survey sent out this week to Yr 2 parents, swimming will start on Monday 12th January 2026 for some Year 2 and Yr 3/4 children. If your Yr 2 /3 / 4 child will be attending you will have received an email confirmation. Further details will be sent on our return to school during the first week of January.
Adders PE days will be Tuesday and Thursday next term.
Change to Dinner on Tuesday 6th January
School dinner on Tuesday will be Monday's menu of beef lasagne or macaroni cheese, not greek style chicken

Please remember to complete the Library agreement consent on Arbor after you have reviewed the short agreement accessed on our website Library Agreement. .

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful! Mondays - Swimming resumes on Monday 12th January for some Yr 2/3/4 children
Mondays - Forest school at Copdock resumes on 12th January. Please note that Adders will no longer be going to Copdock, they will have PE at Bentley.
Mondays - starting 12th January - KS1 Multi skills After School club at Copdock - pick up for children who have signed up, at 4.15pm from Copdock school.
Monday 5th January - PD Day - no children in school Tuesday 6th January - children return for Spring Term Monday 16th to Friday 20th February - Half-Term
