Important Information to Share

Governor changes
Governors have held their first meeting of the year and have been visiting classes to see children once again. Mr Simon Hurst has been the Chair of Governors for the federation for many years and has now stepped back to a governor role for his coming term. Mr Laurie Page has been elected as Chair of Governors for the coming academic year and Mrs Gemma Mark will be our new Vice Chair. We have thanked Simon for his work as Chair over many years and are pleased to be able to make full use of his expertise as he continues to support our schools as a co-opted governor.

words.PNG

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
