Attendance figures
Attendance for our school is 96.0% which is above the Local and National Average of 94.9% and 94.8% respectively. Well done everyone. 
 
Adders PE next week
Please can Adders children wear PE kit on Tuesday and Wednesday just for next week, (not Thursday next week). 
 
Hedgehogs Forest School next week
Hedgehogs will be going to Copdock for forest school next Thursday - so please send children in wearing suitable forest school clothes and footwear.
 
Wolves Stay and Play next week
Next week will be Thursday afternoon instead of Wednesday.
 
Park Run
Following on from the success of the cross country in March if anyone would like to take part in running in a fun way please attached poster.
 
Smart Phones
You may be aware there is a Parent Pact to try and delay getting children smart phones until they are older. If you would like to find out more about this please follow this link  https://smartphonefreechildhood.org/parent-pact-results

For those that are paying for PGL in instalments, please be reminded that the next installment is now due please.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful

Wolves:  concentric and advert

Mondays - Swimming lessons for some Yr 2 / 3/ 4 children
 
Mondays - Wolves Forest school (all day) and Hedgehogs PE at Copdock (pm).
 
Mondays - KS2 Football After School club at Copdock - pick up for children who have signed up, at 4.15pm from Copdock school.
 
Wednesday afternoons - KS2 Cricket and Padel at Copdock
 
Wednesday afternoons - Wolves class stay and play 2.45 - 3.10pm (Thursday 7th instead of Wednesday 6th next week)
 
Fridays 2.45pm - Family sharing assembly - please see an updated Family Assembly summer 26 for children sharing this term.
 

Monday 4th May - Bank Holiday

Thursday 7th May - am - U9 Cricket - Hedgehogs children attending.  If any parent can help with this event, please email the office - it would be gratefully appreciated.

Thursday 7th May - Hedgehogs children to Copdock for forest school

Friday 8th May - Football Festival at St Joes - children taking part have been notified, times to be confirmed

Monday 11th - Thursday 14th May - Year  6 SATs week

Monday 25th - Friday 29th May - Half-Term

Friday 5th June - family sharing in class - parents are invited in to look at your child's work in the classroom - 2.45pm (2.30pm if you have more than one child).

Thursday 11th June - Sports Afternoon

Tuesday 23rd June - Talent Show

Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th - EBHS transition days for Yr 6

Friday 26th June - class photos
