Children in Need Challenge!
Thank you so much for your kindness today as part of our Children in Need collection. You donated 50 boxes of cereal in total, all of which will go to the Top Up Minster in Ipswich. This will provide an average of 750 - 800 bowls of cereal, so thank you all! Watch this short video to see the cereal effect in action.  https://youtube.com/shorts/8zkfWXuphwA
Advent Elves
If you would like to be an Advent Elf, then read on! As part of our Advent Service we will be launching our countdown to Christmas by continuing our good deeds with a reverse Advent Calendar. This is a charitable initiative where instead of receiving something each day, we donate an item daily in the lead-up to Christmas. This year our Christmas tree will have some tags on for families to collect. Each tag will have a number to represent the days in December until we finish school on 19th. If you would like to take a tag, please donate a small Christmas treat on that day of December. As we open the doors on our advent calendar each day in school, we would like it to feature a photo showing these acts of kindness. As the children give a gift, they will receive a small token of appreciation to recognise their contribution, just like in an advent calendar.

School Library
Unfortunately only 7 children have had completed consents for the Library Agreement.  A reminder has been sent this week, please can we ask you to review the short agreement accessed on our website Library Agreement and confirm your acceptance of it via Arbor.

words.PNG

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
