Important Information to Share
Change to menu for King's Birthday - Tuesday 17th June To mark the King's Birthday our catering company is offering a special lunch menu - this does not need to be pre-ordered but please note there will be no jackets or sandwiches available on this day. Please see attached poster with details of the menu and ensure your child knows what is on offer that day. KS1 Zoo Trip Just a reminder that the deadline for payments and slips is next Friday 20th June please. Consent forms are also due in, if you are unable to print at home, please let the office know. Sports Kits If anyone still has any sports kit at home from recent sports fixtures, please can you wash and return to school asap. Many thanks Consents in Arbor It is very important that we have the consent forms completed for all children in Arbor please. If you have had an email this week asking you to log in and complete these, please could you action asap. Thank you for your support. Absences Please ensure that you call or email school each morning before 8.55am to report your child as absent. Unless they are sick and need to be off school for 48 hours. please contact school each day that they are absent. Please see policy link for more details. Attendance policy PTA News Ice cream sale Please check our Local events and clubs page on the website for things going on in the community .and over the summer break. - we are always adding new information from 3rd parties for you to consider - there may be holiday clubs or sporting opportunities, or events taking place in local villages. We also include courses available to parents on a variety of topics. Please be aware of the Orwell Bridge lane restrictions and closures over the next few weeks to allow time for dropping and collecting at school.Details from Highways on the local events page, link above.

REMINDERS!!!! Sports Day A reminder that we are holding our annual sports day next Wednesday afternoon (18th June). Please check what colour team your child is in and details for the afternoon. The survey should be been completed for the Grab and Go lunch on offer. If you have not completed this you will need to send a packed lunch for your child. We look forward to seeing families on the field from 12pm to join in the fun and cheer your child on. We intend to do a practice sports day on Tuesday morning, weather permitting, please send children in their PE kit. Absence requests- reminder to parents - Can you please ensure if you are requesting an absence for your child that you request an absence form from the office at least 3 weeks in advance of the period of absence. Thank you

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
