Important Information to Share  

Absence requests- reminder to parents
Can you please ensure if you are requesting an absence for your child that you request an absence form from the office at least 3 weeks in advance of the period of absence. Thank you 
 
VE Day challenge
Children dressed in red, white or blue yesterday and ran or walked a total of 80 miles. And an amazing thank you out to all who supported our VE day challenge on Just giving or sending in £1s. The current total is over £200 and rising
 
Year 6 SATs
As you may be aware Year 6 children are sitting their SATs tests Monday to Thursday next week.  Year 6 children are invited to join Mrs Robinson for breakfast at 8.30am each morning, please come to the main door.  Please can we ask that if you need to visit school that you avoid the mornings please so they are not disturbed or if you do visit, please do not press the buzzer, knock on the office window. We wish them all well!

REMINDERS!!!!

Yr 5/6 Bikeabilty - A reminder to send in consent forms for your child to take part in Bikeability please
 
 
Walking Bus - The Walking Bus continues next week.  We are encouraging everyone to meet at the memorial and Mrs Fisher will be leading the bus everyday at 8.35am until the end of half term. Please see the email for further details.
 

Photo Permissions -  A reminder to complete the permissions in Arbor please.  If you have not yet logged in to Arbor, please can we ask that you do log in or let us know if you have any issues with this. 

Year 4 sleepover - A reminder to complete the questionnaire on the website please.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
