Important Information to Share  

 

Walk to School Week

Thank you to all the children who have walked at least part of the journey to school this week.  It was done as part of the active travel plan as part of our sustainability project.

MOKI Challenge

Whilst writing this we are very close to the top of the leaderboard - with a football tournament to take place this afternoon - well done to everyone for contributing.

Netball

We have had a U9 festival and an U11 tournament this week - the children were amazing and represented the school very well.  Congratulations to everyone who joined in.

After School Club after half term

Monday after school activity club will be running for 5 weeks from Monday 9th June to Monday 14th July, (missing Monday 23rd June), at £2 per week = £10.00. Payment can be made via the website before the first session please.

Trips after half term

We have a number of trips coming up next term.  Please check the emailed letters and ensure that payments and consent forms are in on time please.  This ensures that we can make payments to transport companies and venues on time so that trips can run smoothly. Thank you for your support. 

Coffee & Chat at Bentley

Miss Cross is holding a coffee and chat for parents on Tuesday 3rd June at 2:45pm. The topic is developing Federation links and outdoor learning. Please let the office know if you are able to attend.

Leaving the school site at the end of the day

A reminder please that parents need to keep a close eye on children at the end of the day and please can we ask that you leave the site by 3.30pm so that the gates can be locked. thank you!

Attendance - you will have received a notification about your child's attendance. This will be sent half termly for your information. 

Please check our Local clubs and events page on the website for things going on in the community .and over the half term break. - we are always adding new information from 3rd parties for you to consider - there may be holiday clubs or sporting opportunities, or events taking place in local villages.  We also include courses available to parents on a variety of topics.

Yr 5/6 Bikeabilty - A reminder to send in consent forms for your child to take part in Bikeability please
 
 
Photo Permissions -  A reminder to complete the permissions in Arbor please.  If you have not yet logged in to Arbor, please can we ask that you do log in or let us know if you have any issues with this. 

Year 4 sleepover - A reminder to complete the questionnaire on the website please.

Absence requests- reminder to parents - Can you please ensure if you are requesting an absence for your child that you request an absence form from the office at least 3 weeks in advance of the period of absence. Thank you 
 
Lunch and Morning Club payments - Please ensure that all payments are paid weekly as taken - thank you for your support

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
