Hello Woodpeckers,

This week our Learning behaviour is "Tune In - Concentrate"

Ms Jordan is our teacher Monday - Wednesday and Mrs Cook is our teacher Thursday - Friday.

Reminders:.

Monday - We will be collecting in last week's homework today and giving you your next piece, so please bring in your homework books.

Tuesday - Year 4s - we will doing our Multiplication Times Table Checks today - please keep practising this weekend so you are completely ready.

PE kits to be worn. Please ensure you wear the correct PE kit - look on the website if you're unsure. Cricket continues for Woodpeckers today -If your child is not at a club, then please collect them from the cricket ground at 3pm. This will give you time to then go to school and collect siblings for 3.15pm. Football club after school. Any children going to football club, Lego Club or After school club will walk back with Mrs Jordan and Mrs Shand.

Wednesday - Trip to Colchester to learn more about the Romans. Please come in your school uniform as usual and dress for the weather - raincoat if it looks rainy, sunhat and suncream if sunny. Don't forget your packed lunches and water bottles.

Thursday -

Friday - PTA Ice cream Friday so please bring your pennies for the end of the day. Please come in Forest School clothes but no shorts.

Uniform

Please make sure children are wearing correct uniform; including socks and it is labelled.

Daily belongings needed in school: water bottle, planners, book bag, coat and a smile!

Homework

Correct the paragraph by showing where the punctuation needs to be placed. Homework due in on Monday 16th June.

Reading Giants - Read at least 5 times each week and record it in the planner. Please note - the planner needs to be in school on Friday as past reads will not be recorded on our chart (except holidays).

Times Tables - Log on to TT Rock Stars. Mrs Cook will be organising competitions. Year 4 -this is very important for you as you have the Multiplication Times Tables coming up this week. Also, remember to keep going on https://www.timestables.co.uk/ to practise the Multiplication Times Table Check.
