Here are some reminders for next week.

Reminders:

Please ensure all children's uniform is named and they have a drink bottle with them. In bad weather, please ensure they have the correct uniform including coats, a school fleece isn't sufficient to keep them dry so please send in a coat as well especially with the weather changing.

Monday - Forest school at Copdock. Swimming for some year 2s

Tuesday - PE kits to be worn.

Friday - Shared Learning pm - Parents are invited in for shared learning. Please come in at 2.45pm if you have 1 child, 2.30pm if you have more than 1 child. You will be asked to sign in and then join your child to look at their learnng in the classroom. Please can we ask that siblings do not attend where possible due to space.

Lent Challenges:

This year, Lent is during half term and Worship Group would like the children to take part in our annual Lent Challenges. There are 25 challenges to be completed during this time and there are a few new ones. Your child will bring home a paper copy of the challenges today which will need to be completed and brought into school by Friday 17^th April 2026 (the week after Easter) for a small treat and two brain stickers. Worship Group would love as many children as possible to take part this year.

Homework

1) 5 reads

2) Year 1 and R - phonics sheet to complete in homework book. Pick a few words to write in a sentence in the homework book (year 1)

3) Year 2 - Spellings list in homework book. Practise these spellings ready for a spelling test the following Friday. You can also put these into a sentence to practise writing them.
