New Kittens 2026/27

Date: 10th Jul 2026 @ 4:07pm

Hello Kittens,

Well done on completing your induction session, children and well done to my current Kittens for being such fantastic role models!
I can't wait to welcome you back and teach all of you in September.

Thank you to all the parents who came along to our Coffee and Chat this morning. It was lovely to see you again and give you the opportunity to get to know other parents.

Here are the answers to the questions raised during our Coffe and Chat meeting:

  • PE: The PE timetable will be shared with parents once the children start in September.
  • Uniform: Children should come to school wearing their school uniform on Thursday, 3rd September.
  • Stay and Play: Our Stay and Play sessions will take place, in the first two half terms, every Tuesday from 2:40–3:10 pm. Parents are warmly invited to join us in the classroom.
  • Sharing Assemblies: These take place on Fridays. You will receive a timetable in September so you know when your child will be sharing their wonderful learning. If your child is due to receive a certificate for demonstrating positive learning behaviours, you will receive an invitation on Thursday (the day before the assembly) to attend the assembly on Friday.
  • Pupil Pages: If you have not yet received your child's Pupil Page on A3 paper, your child will bring it home in September. This is a page for you to create and decorate together to tell us more about your child. You may wish to include photos of family members, favourite toys, pets or favourite characters from films. It provides a familiar and comforting link between home and school, helping to support your child's transition. Once you created it, please send to to school at your earliest convinience in Spetember.
  • Photo Frames: Please send in a small photo frame containing a family photograph for your child in September. We use these to help children settle into their new classroom. Please ensure the glass is removed before sending it in. Thank you!
  • Please provide a spare bag to keep at school with spare clothes in case of wet accidents (we suggest at least two changes of the bottoms and two pairs of knickers/pants). Please make sure all the items of clothing are named.
  • Please provide a pair of named wellies to be kept at school for Forest Schools.

Have a wonderful summer, and we look forward to welcoming you in September!
Miss Zych
