Hello Kittens, I hope you had a lovely weekend!

This week we will be looking for the learning behaviour-'work hard' and our value is 'forgiveness'.

Here are some reminders for this week:

Monday
PE and Forest schools - Please wear outdoor PE kit, jogging bottoms, t-shirt and a jumper/jacket with trainers. We would really like the children to have a pair of wellies that can be left in school as we will go outside in all weathers. Please make sure all earrings are removed for PE.

Tuesday
PE - Wear PE kit. Please make sure all earrings are removed for PE.
Stay and Play - 2.40-3.10

Wednesday

Thursday

Library day - Make sure to bring in your books to change.

Friday

Family Assembly at 9 am (change of usual time)
Homework due in. Homework for Year 1- please log onto to Google classrrom (login details can be found iin the womework books).
Muffins with Mum

Uniform

Please make sure children are wearing correct uniform and it is labelled.

Daily belongings needed in school: water bottle, book bag, coat and a smile!

Please ensure reading books are kept in pouches and looked after for everyone to enjoy-thank you.

Reading Giants - Read at least 5 times each week and record it in the diary. Please note - the diary needs to be in school on Friday as past reads will not be recorded on our chart (except holidays). If your child receives a certificate for reading at home, it will be kept in their Learning Journey folder, which they will share with you at the end of the year. Reads during half-term holidays also count!

Plea for Spare Clothes
If you have any spare trousers, shorts, skirts, or dresses that your child has outgrown, we would greatly appreciate donations for our spare clothes supply. These are kept in school for children who may need a change of clothes in case of accidents during the day.
If your child comes home wearing school spare clothes, please wash and return them to school as soon as possible so they can be used again when needed.

Y1 Homework

This week your homework looks slightly different,as we would like you to try logging into google classroom and completing a simple activity on there. The children have all been on Google Classroom in class, so should be familiar with the layout. To access your homework, you will need to go to the Squirrels class page.
