Hi Kittens,

I hope you have had a fab weekend!

Our learning behaviour of the week is: 'don't give up' and our value is 'Thankfulness'

Our words of the week are Reception: 'harvest' and 'autumn' Year 1: 'dawn' and 'dusk'.

 

Reminders:

Monday: PE & Forest schools - Please wear outdoor PE kit, jogging bottoms, t-shirt and a jumper/jacket with trainers. We would really like the children to have a pair of wellies that can be left in school as we will go outside in all weathers.  

 

Tuesday: Wear PE kit. Please make sure all earings are removed for PE. Stay and Play at 2:40 for parents of children in Reception.

 

Thursday: Library book day. Remember to bring in your library book so it can be swapped for a new one. Homework and reading logs due in. 

                   Harvest Festival at the church at 2:30pm. Children to be collected from the church today. 

 

Friday: World Mental Health day - Wear uniform as usual and enhance it with something yellow for  Mental Health day - could be socks, hairband etc.  

 
 
General Reminders

Please make sure children are wearing correct uniform; including socks and it is labelled.

Please ensure you are bringing bookbags, water bottles and coats to school.

Earrings must be taken out for PE. 

5 reads for the week must be recorded by the Friday of that week and in school on the Friday in order to be marked on the chart.

 

Homework

Due in 10.10.25

  1. Spellings (year 1 only on the bottom of your phonic sheet)
  2. Practice number bonds to 10
  3. Phonics Sheet 
  4. 5 reads (please remember to record these in reading logs)

Reception

  3. In Maths we have been learning to make the number 3 and 4. Can you make groups of 3 or 4 at home? Show your work to your family!
