Hello Kittens,
I hope you have had a good weekend and you are ready for another week of learning!
This week we will be looking for the learning behaviour- 'push yourself' and our value is 'generosity'.
Our topic this half term is: 'All About Me'
Here are some reminders for this week:
Monday
Forest School and PE- Wear outdoor PE kit. Please make sure all earrings are removed for PE.
Tuesday
PE- Please make sure all earrings are removed for PE.
Foundation Stay and Play- 2.40-3.10 The parents/carers are invited to join our learning activities.
Wednesday
Library day
Make sure to bring in your books to change.
Thursday
Library day
Make sure to bring in your books to change.
Friday
Uniform: Please make sure children are wearing correct uniform and it is labelled. Don't forget to label their hats and wellies too! Thank you.
Daily belongings needed in school: water bottle, book bag, coat and a smile!
Water Bottles: To help promote good oral health, we kindly ask that only water is sent in children's drinking bottles. Children are, of course, welcome to have juice or squash in their lunchboxes if you wish. National guidance recommends that water should be the only drink available to children throughout the school day. Thank you to these parents who help us to implement that.
Y1 Homework: Please find it on Google Classroom this week in Squirrel Class. You can find the login details for thi in children's homework books.
Reception Homework Please look at our phonics worksheet and practice the sounds. Thank you.
Reading Giants: Please read with your child at least five times a week for them to recive a tick on a Reading Giants challenge sheet. We count both- stories shared together and our reading books from the phonics scheme.
Reading Books: Please make sure that these are kept safely in the plastic wallets that we provided together with their orange reading record and brought to school everyday.
Library: We offer two libray slots for the children in a week, but ometimes other things crop up and we are limited to only one slot. This week we could only use the library do Wednesday, so if your child has't changed thier book, they will have a chance to do that next week. Thank you for your understanding.
