Shared Learning- 2.30-2.45  Join us for our Reading Café! Parents will read phonics books with their children, followed by sharing high-quality stories for pleasure. Reading in the early years lays the foundation for all future learning. It helps children develop vocabulary, listening skills, and understanding of the world around them. Sharing stories also builds imagination, concentration, and confidence. Most importantly, regular reading nurtures a lifelong love of books and supports strong communication skills, giving children the best possible start in their education. We look forward to enjoying reading together!

Uniform
Please make sure children are wearing correct uniform; including socks and it is labelled.

Daily belongings needed in school: water bottle, book bag, coat and a smile!

Please ensure reading books are kept in pouches and looked after for everyone to enjoy-thank you.

Reading Giants - Read at least 5 times each week and record it in the diary. Please note - the diary needs to be in school on Friday as past reads will not be recorded on our chart (except holidays). If your child receives a certificate for reading at home, it will be kept in their Learning Journey folder, which they will share with you at the end of the year. Reads during half-term holidays also count!

Have a fantatic week of learning!
