Here are some reminders for this week:
Monday Forest School and PE- Wear outdoor PE kit. Please make sure all earrings are removed for PE.
Tuesday PE-Please make sure all earrings are removed for PE. Foundation Stay and Play- 2.40-3.10 The parents/carers are invited to join our learning activities.
Wednesday Library day-Make sure to bring in your books to change.
Thursday Library day-Make sure to bring in your books to change. Non-uniform day- Children are invited to come into school in dress down clothing on Thursday 22nd October, in exchange for a Halloween ‘treat’ to be used for the raffle. Please ensure that clothing is appropriate for learning and suitable for school (e.g.: going to the toilet on their own, safe for running during breaktimes and lunchtimes). Thank you. PTA Disco- after school for the children who purchased the ticket.
Friday PD day- non pupil day
Uniform: Please make sure children are wearing correct uniform and it is labelled. Thank you.
Daily belongings needed in school: water bottle, book bag, coat and a smile!
Y1 Homework: Please find it on Google Classroom in Squirrel Class. The children have their wetaher diary charts to complete in their homework book. Please practice daily: number challenge (number bonds to 10), spellings and reading. Thank you.
Reception Homework Please look at our phonics worksheet and practice the sounds. Thank you.
Reading Giants: Please read with your child at least five times a week for them to recive a tick on a Reading Giants challenge sheet. We count both- stories shared together and our reading books from the phonics scheme. This week we did not have a lot of children reading five times, so many children missed out on the Reding Giants tick. Thnk your for the continued effort to support your child's learning at home.
