Stay and Play is Changing to Reading Session

To help create an environment that promotes a love of reading in Reception, we will now be holding Reading Sessions every Tuesday in place of Stay and Play. Sessions will take place from 2:55pm – 3:10pm. During these sessions, there will be no toys or outdoor provision. Instead, we will create a calm, welcoming and inviting environment where you and your child can relax, enjoy stories together and become fully immersed in reading. These sessions will provide a wonderful opportunity for you to spend quality time with your child while sharing a range of engaging texts. They will also give you the chance to ask any questions you may have about reading in EYFS and learn more about how to support your child’s reading journey at home. We look forward to welcoming you to our Reading Sessions!

Have a fantastic week of lerning!
