Hedgehogs 10.11.25

Date: 6th Nov 2025 @ 2:06pm

Welcome Hedgehogs,

Here are some reminders for next week.

Our learning behaviour of the week is, 'Tune In' and our value is, 'Trust'.

Words of the week: 'helpful' and 'unhelpful'.

Reminders:

Anti-Bullying Week - we will be doing a variety of activities throughout the week focusing on the theme, 'Power for Good'. Children may wear odd sockets throughout the week,

Please ensure all children's uniform is named and they have a drink bottle with them. In bad weather, please ensure they have the correct uniform including coats, a school fleece isn't sufficient to keep them dry so please send in a coat as well especially with the weather changing.

Monday - Outdoor clothing should be worn for Forest Schools and bring in wellies or old trainers to change into. Swimming kits.

Tuesday - PE kits to be worn.

Remembrance Service at 11am at the memorial.

Wednesday - Spellings and homework.

Parents Evening - 3.30-6.15pm.

Friday

Children in Need
Don't forget that this year, we are planning to do something slightly different in support of our local food bank. Linked to the 2025 theme, 'challenge yourself', we are inviting families to donate a box of cereal, instead of a monetary donation. We will be creating a domino effect on the playground, demonstrating to children that each act of kindness has a knock on effect to others around us. The cereal will then be donated to the local food banks to support local children and families in need. Children are excited about this already and we have agreed that more than one box of full, unopened cereal is welcome. Thank you for your support.

If you have any large pine cones we could use for decorating making, please could the children bring them in.

Please find attached our curriculum map for this half term.

Homework Due in Wednesday 12th November

  1. Writing Homework - See your child's homework book
  2. TTR daily
  3. Spelling to be completed
  4. Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.

I will look forward to seeing you Monday, have a lovely weekend,

Mrs North
