Dear Foxes
Firstly, congratulations to our year 6s. You worked so hard last week, I am so proud of you. Thank you to the year 5s that supported them by coming into school early to ensure a calm start to the tests. I would also like to thank all the parents that came in to support our children by preparing them a healthy breakfast. Your support is very much appreciated.
Our learning behaviour this week is 'don't give up' and our value is 'service'
This is our last week before half term.
Reminders
Monday - PE, last swim, clarinets due in
Tuesday - PE with ITFC, cricket, clarinet
Wednesday -
Thursday - netball tournament
Friday - homework/5 reads due in, Football tournament at St Jos
Next week is Walk to School Week. We will be asking all children to walk at least part of the way into school. Remember you can park at the bottom of the hill and join Amanda and the walking bus if you do need to drive part of the way. This is especially important for years 5/6 as it helps to develop independence and risk taking, which is part of our PSHE curriculum.
We also have a Moki band challenge, where we are aiming to be the most active school in the country. Every step the children take will add to a whole school total. The children will be able to wear their watches home for the week to help add to our total steps. Please support your child in wearing these and help us show how active we really are.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Mrs Windmill
