Welcome to the third week of the second half term.

You will need to wear your PE kit on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY this week. Please make sure that ALL uniform is named (especially PE jumpers).  Don't forget, Cross Country practice on WEDNESDAY lunchtime.

It is Worship Group on TUESDAY.

Remember, you MUST bring a warm waterproof coat to school EVERY DAY as you will be expected to go out at playtimes even if it is raining or cold.

The learning behaviour this week is 'Work Hard' and our value this half term is 'Forgiveness'.  Our words this week are: 'clone' and  'annulment'.

This week's homework is:

  • Maths - Decimals.
  • Spelling sheet - Words with 'fer'.
  • Writing - use the picture stimulus to write 5 sentences using the different sentence types learnt in class: compound, complex (middle), verb complex and subordinating complex.  If you are unsure, please look at this video on the website. All the details are on Google Classroom. You can submit your writing on Google Docs or handwrite it in your homework book. 
  • Learn the fourth column of the Y5/6 or Y3/4 Common Exception Words.  The ones you need to learn have been highlighted on the list in the front of your homework book.  
  • Use TTRockstars to practise your times tables - you MUST know these!!  If you don't, you need to go on here EVERY DAY.
  • Read for Pleasure at least FIVE times this week and record this in your diary for our Reading Giants challenge.  Ask a grown up to sign your book on Friday's section.

Please complete your homework and bring into school on FRIDAY 20th MARCH 2026.
