Welcome to the first full week of the new academic year. It has been great to welcome back the Year 6s and getting to know the Year 5s over the past two days. You have all settled in really well to your new class and new classroom!

You will need to wear your PE kit on MONDAY and WEDNESDAY this week as we have PE in school. You will need to wear your uniform on all the other days.
You will be bringing home your home learning book this week that you can cover and decorate if you would like. Spelling and maths homework will be stuck in your book and you will have a week to complete your learning. If you have any questions about your learning, you MUST ask before the FRIDAY it is due in.
This week's homework is:
- Complete your writing homework on Google Classroom and 'hand in' online by FRIDAY 18th SEPTEMBER 2026.
- Use TTRockstars to practise your times tables - you MUST know these!! If you don't, you need to go on here EVERY DAY.
- Read for Pleasure at least FIVE times this week and record this in your diary for our Reading Giants challenge. Ask a grown up to sign your book on Friday's section.
