Adders Class 18.5.26

Date: 14th May 2026 @ 8:28pm

Welcome to the final week of this half term.  Well done to Year 6 last week during SATs - you all did amazingly well and I'm very proud of you.

This week's timetable can be accessed HERE.

You will need to wear your PE kit on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY this week. You will have cricket or Padel at Copdock Cricket Club on Wednesday with Mrs Lawrance and athletics with me on Thursday.  Please make sure that ALL uniform is named (especially PE jumpers).

Selected children are attending the netball tournament on TUESDAY morning with Mrs Lawrance.  You will need to bring in a packed lunch that day and plenty of drinks.  On Monday, you will be given a school kit to wear.  Please come to school wearing your kit.

I am out of class on WEDNESDAY, so Mrs Lawrance will be teaching you all day.

Remember, you MUST bring a warm waterproof coat to school EVERY DAY as you will be expected to go out at playtimes even if it is raining.

The learning behaviour this week is 'Improve' and our value this half term is 'Friendship'.  Our words this week are: 'transpose' and  'incision'.

Your half term's homework for is:

  • Retrieval homework poster on Google Classroom for this half term.  You can either use the A3 piece of paper you have been given or complete it online.

  • Read for Pleasure at least FIVE times this week and record this in your diary for our Reading Giants challenge.  Ask a grown up to sign your book on Friday's section.

Please complete your homework and bring into school after half term on FRIDAY 5th JUNE 2026.
