On THURSDAY, we are at The Hold in Ipswich for our History visit with Foxes Class.  You will need to wear full school uniform and make sure you have a packed lunch and drinks.  We will be travelling there and back in minibuses and staff cars.

I am out of class on WEDNESDAY MORNING, so Mrs Lawrance will be teaching you.

Remember, you MUST bring a warm waterproof coat to school EVERY DAY as you will be expected to go out at playtimes even if it is raining.

The learning behaviour this week is 'Try New Things' and our value this half term is 'Respect'.  Our words this week are: 'intersect' and  'meridian'.

This week's homework is:

  • Spelling Sheet - Silent Letters.
  • Maths - Angles
  • Writing - use the picture stimulus to write 5 sentences using the different sentence types learnt in class: compound, complex (middle), verb complex and subordinating complex.  If you are unsure, please look at this video on the website. All the details are on Google Classroom. You can submit your writing on Google Docs or handwrite it in your homework book.
  • Learn the fifth column of the Y5/6 or Y3/4 Common Exception Words.  The ones you need to learn have been highlighted on the list in the front of your homework book.  You will be tested on these this week.

  • Read for Pleasure at least FIVE times this week and record this in your diary for our Reading Giants challenge.  Ask a grown up to sign your book on Friday's section.
