We are trying to keep the costs as low as possible for parents so Miss Cross will be our walking tour guide! We will ask for a contribution to cover the coach cost. As always, if we do not recieve contributions, we would need to consider cancelling the trip. Please ensure you complete your letters that were sent out this week.

Walk to school week

Thank you to everyone who has been taking part in the 'Walking Bus' . Next week is the official Walk to School challenge and takes place 19th-23rd May 2025 each year. This year’s challenge will see pupils take on The Great Space Walk, encouraging them to travel actively to school every day of the week. Meeting various colourful intergalactic friends along the way, pupils will learn about the important reasons to walk or wheel and its benefits for individuals, communities and the planet!

We will have booklets and stickers to give to children and prizes at the end of the week.  Please see info on this link https://www.livingstreets.org.uk/wtsw

We also have a Moki band challenge running for the week, where we are aiming to be the most active school in the country. Every step the children take will add to a whole school total. The children will be able to wear their watches home for the week to help add to our total steps. Please encourage everyone to wear their watch to see just how many steps we can reach.
