Assessment

At our schools, assessment informs planning and provision for pupils with SEND.

·        Parents/carers are kept informed throughout identification and assessment.

·        Termly tracking meetings monitor progress and identify pupils who may be experiencing difficulties (including emotional and behavioural support).

·        We track resilience using a resilience tracker to identify and implement activities that strengthen resilience.

·        Pupils with additional needs are appropriately involved at all stages, taking account of ability and understanding.

·        We monitor impact of interventions and support to ensure pupils are closing gaps.

Bentley School's Christian Ethos

Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
