Communication and Interaction:

·        Attention/interaction skills — difficulties ignoring distractions, staying on task, maintaining conversation; may require prompts and individualised motivation.

·        Understanding/receptive language — may need visual support; repetition; simplified language to aid understanding.

·        Speech/expressive language — simplified language/limited vocabulary; ideas/conversations hard to follow; immature speech sound systems; weaker grammar/phonological awareness affecting literacy.

Cognition and Learning:
