Bentley weekly Update 1.12.23
Important Information to Share
Gymnastics Taster on Monday
Further to the email last term regarding an after school gymnastics club. We had lots of interest so we will be looking to run this after Christmas. To help children decide whether it is something they would be interested in doing we have taster sessions for all classes on Monday morning. We will then give you details of the costs, day and times next week for you to be able to sign up. Depending on numbers we may need to restrict to certain year groups as there is a maximum number for safety. Check the weekly update next week for this club and any other we may be offering.
Performance Tickets - these are available to book from 3pm today - see below for more details
Flu Vaccinations - catch up clinics - please see a letter attached if you still wish for your child to have their flu nasal spray.
Photos - if you took photos at our tree service, please remember we request that they are not added to social media unless it is of your child only. Thank you
Families Suffolk Digital magazine
Emotional Wellbeing and Childhood Neurodiversity Parent and Carer Workshops
Please do consider attending these sessions if you can as they cover a range of themes on anxiety, challenging behaviour, managing big feelings.
Family wellbeing - information to support your child or young person's wellbeing - Suffolk County Council
Please share you views as part of the National Campaign - The Big Ambition. This provides a much-needed opportunity for the children of England to tell political decision makers what is important to them ahead of the General Election. The Children's Commissioner will be sharing their responses with Government to ensure that children’s voices are heard. Children or parents can complete the survey here: www.childrenscommissioner.gov.uk/thebigambition. Further resources are available on their website.
Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
