Wolves 7.2.22

Date: 4th Feb 2022 @ 5:01pm

Welcome to Mental Health Week - see timetable attached for what we are doing each day.

Tuesday is Safer Internet Day and we will be learning about safe Contact, Conduct, Commerce and Content and reporting back to our class Governor.

Learning Behaviour - Push yourself, don't give up.

Vocabulary Reception - dark, day  Year 1&2 - respond, positive.

Maths - we will be carrying on with time.  Please continue to practise this at home.  I will add the maths sheets during the week. We will be looking at ordering our day and amounts of time, days of the week and months of the year too.  Also learning how many hours in a day and minutes in an hour etc.

Writing - we will be finishing our Flo Jo biography and the children will bring a sheet home to find out about another famous person they are interested in to write their own biography the following week.  Please return the sheet with one or two words in each section, or as much as you can.  Parents can write for their child as long as your child has helped find the facts out.

Guided reading books - please don't lose the new book in the packet as these have been bought by PTA.  These books will be changed on a Friday.  Not all children have a packet yet.  The children have read them in school and should read the words and phonemes on the inside front cover first.  there are some questions at the back to ask after they have read it too.

Friday - is break the rules day 50p for each rule broken and a cake sale afetr school on a Valentines theme.

Have a good week

Mrs Rudge

EDIT apologies for being off with covid again, I will be joining the class on Teams for some teaching this week.
