Coronation Event

Thank you to all parents who were able to attend our lovely Coronation event yesterday morning.  Despite the windy conditions and being slightly cold it was a great success.  Children continued to have a lovely morning making crowns which they brought home yesterday,  along with their bookmark, coronation mug and packet of seeds to plant in the garden, the last two items were kindly purchased by the Parish Council. We hope that they have enjoyed celebrating this historic event and enjoy more celebrations over the weekend.  Don't forget it is a Bank Holiday on Monday!

Lunchtime Football Club

A reminder that Football Development East will be running a lunchtime football club for children on Mondays, starting 15th May.  Places will be offered on first come basis.
  • The KS2 session will be held from 12.00 to 12.30pm with children eating lunch afterwards. It would be preferable for them to bring a packed lunch that day if possible, so they don't miss the start of their club.
  • The KS1 session will run from 12.30 - 1.00pm once they have eaten.  Reception children will have a separate session to learn fundamental skills from 1.00 to 1.45pm.
There will be no cost for this, it will be fully funded by school. If your child would like to take part, please email the office by Tuesday if you would like your child to take part.

Year 6 SATs next week

All Year 6 children are invited in for a pre-SATs breakfast at 8.30am each morning. Please can they come in through the main front door where Mrs Robinson will meet them. Attendance and punctuality are really important next week.

Weather permitting, all Adders children will have a treat of a trip to the park on Friday after their hard work in the  SATs tests, they will be back for lunchtime.

As the tests are taking place in the Hall next to reception and the front door, please can we ask that if you need to come in to school for any reason please do not ring the buzzer.  Please knock on the office window or if it can wait until after 11am that would be even better. Thank you for your support so that the children are not disturbed.

I can confirm that if you have completed a form for your child, they have a place on the course.  There are still 3 places remaining.
