Foxes Friday 15th May

Date: 15th May 2020 @ 8:23am

Good morning Foxes

I decided to get up really early today and go for an extra long walk. It's so beautiful outside today, the sun is shining, it's lovely and warm and the birds are singing away merrily. I even heard a woodpecker, pecking madly at a tree. The squirrels were having a game of chase through the branches, sending twigs and leaves down across the footpath. I do hope you get to spend some time outside and really appreciate what's around you, we are so lucky to live in such an amazing part of the country.

So today you have a reading comprehension and I have included one of the maths challenges that we often do to practise skills. If you want to email me to check whether you have the right island then please do. If not the answer will be posted on Monday.

It's International day of Families today, so as part of your topic you could find out what it is and why we recognise it. This could be something you do instead of one of the other activities if you would prefer.

Thanks for all the discussion and emails showing me your learning, you've been very busy and it all looks great.

I still have 5 to speak to as there was no answer when I called yesterday. It will show as a withheld number but I do need to talk to you so please answer.

So have a great day, enjoy your weekend, appreciate everything you have and all that's around you.But most of all be grateful for your family.
