Phonic Meeting:  Mr Ross is looking forward to welcoming Year 1 parents for a phonic meeting starting at 2pm next Thursday.  Please refer to the letter circulated previously for further details.

OTHER ITEMS:

  • As the uniform order deadline is today, can we take this opportunity to remind parents of our expectations regarding uniform.  The UNIFORM POLICY is on the school website under ‘School Information’.  If you are unfamiliar with it, please take a look now.  Should you need to order any uniform, the order form is in the ‘Letters’ section of the website and the email can be dealt with on Monday.
  • Can we please ask that anyone with LONG HAIR, ties this back, this should help to restrict the spread of head lice.
  • For Foxes parents, please check your inbox for a couple of emails with LETTERS relevant to your children (1 for year 6 and 2 for year 5), they are the Relationships & Sex Education Letter and the procedures for 11+ Entry.
  • Please remember to save the PLANT TO PLATE TOKENS from your ‘papers before you recycle them!  The box is currently looking a little sparse – the campaign has been under way for a couple of weeks now.
  • Don’t forget to vote for our LEGO CLUB builds at https://www.kidswithbricks.com/voting-page – you can vote more than once, absolutely anyone can vote – club member or not!  We are currently 50th out of 186 schools!
  • The Y3/4 Statutory words column 3 that WOODPECKERS are learning this half term, is now on SPELLING SHED and the children are being tested every week.  Please ensure children are playing the games on spelling shed as only 5 children accessed it this week, if the children do not have access then they can use the computer at lunchtimes.
