Theatre Visit

We had visitors to year 6 this week from the New Wolsey Theatre with a performance of 'The Lies You Tell' which was commissioned by SCC to support young people to understand and prioritise their mental wellbeing following the pandemic.

Harvest Festival

This week the children walked to the church for our Harvest Festival.  Thank you to all our families and friends who joined us for the celebration, and also for the generous donations for the Homeless Unit in Ipswich.

Flu Vaccinations

Apologies for the late notice of the vaccinations being cancelled.  We are still awaiting a rearranged date but will let you know as soon as it's confirmed.

Midday Supervisor

We are looking for a Midday Supervisor for 3 days per week. The position is 12-1pm and involves supervising children during lunchtime whilst eating and outside at play.  Please contact the office for further information if you would be interested.

Young Voices

The deadline for ordering tickets or t-shirts is next week.  Please reply via the Form to confirm if you would like to order a t-shirt or not.  It would be helpful if you could reply either way please.  You can pay via spider or cash if preferred, but we must have monies in by Thursday to ensure we get the order placed ahead of the deadline (not ours).

Christmas Cake Club

This is a final call for anyone wishing to take part in the Christmas Cake Club.  We do need adult support with this please.  At the moment it will not be viable to run the club.  Please do let us know early next week if you'd be interested in taking part.

Workshops

Despite expecting several parents for the Reading workshop this week, we only had few turn up.  The next scheduled workshop is on 4th November and the focus is Maths.  Please see the links in the diary section below to register your interest so that we can make a judgement on the viability of holding the session.

Lego Club

Each week at Lego Club, there is a theme and one of the builds is sent through to the national website where there is a competition. This week's build was Roman Arch and here is our entry to the competition.  You can vote for our build here - we're usually on page 2.
