Elections

Just a reminder that the elections for School Council and Head Pupils will take place early next week.  If your child would like to stand, please help them to prepare and practice their speeches.  The running order is as follows:

Monday 17th School Council Speeches- children will need to stand up with a prepared speech, explaining what qualities they have that would make them a good school council representative.
Tuesday 18th Head Pupil Speeches - Children will need to stand up with a prepared speech, explaining what qualities they have that would enable them to be a good Head Pupil.

Pleasurewood Hills

Foxes need to arrive on time on Wednesday to leave just after registration.  They do not need to wear uniform but do need to be mindful of the weather.  A packed lunch and plenty of drinks are also required.  Pupils are due back to Copdock at about 7:30pm - please be aware this is an estimation.  More details are on the letter sent home via the school website.

Class Rewards

Our KS1 children have earnt and selected their class awards which will be happening on Thursday.  Kittens have chosen a pyjama day and are therefore invited into school on Thursday in their PJs - please ensure they wear sensible footwear and have an outdoor jacket for break times.  Squirrels class will spend some of the afternoon having a water fight.  Squirrels should come into school in their usual uniform for the morning with a towel and change of clothes for the activity.  Please ensure they have shoes that can get wet, as well as a dry pair for travelling home.  They are restricted to bring in one water gun each, brought in at their own risk.

Last Day of Term

On the last day of term we will be holding our leavers' assembly on the field at the start of the day (weather permitting).  The children do not need their book bags, just drinks and lunch if having packed lunch.  Everyone can come in non-uniform, except year 6 leavers who need to be in uniform for their assembly.  Year 6 can bring a change of clothes to change into.

Reports

The children brought home their reports this week.  Please ensure you have read the accompanying letter emailed home and completed the Form.

Housekeeping

Please can pupils bring in a bag for life-type carrier bag to take books etc home on Thursday?  Please ensure all payments for dinners have been made up to and including Friday's meal.  If you are unsure how many you owe for, please contact the office.  Please make sure any resources have been returned including library books, maths games etc.  All medication must be collected by an adult before the end of term please.  Thank you.
