Copdock Weekly Update 11/11/2022

Photographs

On Thursday the children had their individual and sibling photographs taken.  They should all have brought home a little slip with details on how to register to order copies.  The photos are available now for you to view and order them online.  Please see attached for further details.  The order date for free delivery to school is Friday 25th November.  Beyond that, delivery will be chargeable.  If you have misplaced the tickets with the codes, please contact [email protected] directly.

Anti-Bullying Week

Next week is Anti-Bullying Week and our Head Pupils will be leading our Monday assembly to support pupils to 'Reach Out' if they ever experience bullying behaviour.  Don't forget to wear odd socks all week to show your support!  A useful poster is attached to highlight how you can support your child if they experience online bullying.

Football Festival

For those Woodpeckers participating in the Football Festival next Wednesday, please ensure you come to school in your PE kit, a tracksuit and with a coat and water bottle.  Please remember they will not be back in school until 3:45pm at the earliest and will therefore need collecting later than usual.

PTA Meeting

Next Wednesday sees the next PTA meeting, starting at 7:30pm in the school hall.  The main topic will be the upcoming Christmas Fayre, if you can help or support in any way, why not pop along for an hour and contribute.

Children in Need

Next Friday is Children in Need.  Children are invited into school in non-uniform supporting the spotty theme for a 50p donation.

Tag Rugby

For those Foxes who are taking part in the Tag Rugby next week, please remember you must be in school early at 8:30am!  You will need to wear your PE kit, a tracksuit and have a coat with you, as well as a water bottle.  Don't forget you will also need to bring a packed lunch.

Requests

Please help us if you can.  Kittens are looking for 4 paving slabs to support their stage in the EYFS area.  They don't need to match, if you have any spares, please let us know.  Woodpeckers are seeking wire coat hangers if you have any you don't need, please send them in.  Finally, we are looking for a midday supervisor - if you think this might interest you, please get in touch.

Parent Consultations

This is an early warning for you that parent consultations will take place during the week commencing 28th November.  There will be 2 sessions, one on Wednesday 3:30-5:30pm and one on Thursday 5-7pm.  Slots will be bookable via the School Spider website so please ensure you know your parent login and that it is working.  We will let you know via the newsletter when they are open for booking.  If you are unable to log into the website please let us know in advance.

Website

You may have noticed a few things have moved on the website.  Please do take a look.  We get asked to share lots of information with you from third parties.  Rather than send it out via email we advertise a lot of things via the website here - please check in on a regular basis.  This week we have added some fun free events, new swimming lessons, support and advice for bedtimes and sleeping, a race night and more.  We often get details of holiday clubs and sporting activities so keep an eye on the page on a weekly basis.
