Copdock Weekly Update 11/02/2022

Basketball
On Tuesday 10 children from Foxes class took part in a basketball tournament at Inspire in Ipswich.
After winning all 5 of their matches, Copdock were the overall winners.
It was a really exciting competition with all the children having to push themselves all the way through.  They represented our school perfectly through their attitude and fair play.  A great result.

World Book Day

During the first week back from half term it is World Book Day.  Our caterers are offering a special menu to mark the day on the Thursday - please see attached, or the posters around school!  This menu if NOT a pre-order one, it can be ordered on the day.  Please note that the Five Salad Items will not be available - a pea and sweetcorn mix will take it's place.  The vegetarian bolognese will also be served with pasta bows, and the chocolate crunch will be served with chocolate custard!  We will be marking the day on Friday - look out for more details on next week's half termly newsletter.

Quiet Lanes Suffolk

Please see the attached leaflet which is asking for your help to try to gain Quiet Lane status for three of our village roads - part of Back Lane, part of Church Lane and Folly Lane.  If you would like to know more please join the meeting on Thursday 24th February at 7:30pm using the Zoom meeting details on the flyer.  Your views would be appreciated if you could spare a few minutes to respond to this short survey.
