Copdock Weekly Update 09/09/2022
Welcome Back!
A huge welcome to our new starters and a jolly welcome return to everyone else. Thank you for arriving on time and in an orderly fashion, looking very smart in your correct uniforms! Please ensure all jumpers & cardigans are labelled - we already have some that have been left behind at breaktime but have no names in to be returned to their owners.
Class Welcomes
Parents were invited into class today to meet the teacher and discuss how the year will work. Please see details attached that were shared with parents. Please note PE days will be as follows - please check the uniform section of the website for acceptable PE kit:

Dinners
Please ensure dinners are paid for as they are taken. Meals are chargeable from year 3 upwards, at £2.50 each - please send cash in a named envelope, or pay via the school website. If you think you may be eligible for free school meals (regardless of year group), please visit our website here.
PGL Payments
Please can we remind Foxes parents that payment for the PGL trip is required by the end of September. The total cost for the trip is £245 as notified prior to Christmas. Payments can be made in cash (please remember your payment card) or via the website. If you have any queries or problems paying for the trip, please do get in touch with the office as soon as possible.
Swimming
For those children in Woodpeckers who are swimming on Monday, don't forget you will need your swimming costumes - please check the letter to ensure you have the correct style of swimwear. If you have yet to return the slip, please do so first thing on Monday morning.
Family Sharing Assemblies
From next Friday, parents are invited into school on Friday afternoons for our Family Sharing Assemblies. Please see the attached revised schedule to see when your child will be sharing. Please note, the version sent out last week has the wrong date for our MacMillan event - we apologise for this error. Our MacMillan coffee event will be held on Friday 30th September.
Sports Equipment Tokens
Between our Federation of 2 schools we have submitted 828 sports equipment tokens. Thank you to those of you who collected these for us, we wait to hear what equipment we may receive.
