Copdock Weekly Update 07/10/2022

PTA AGM Roundup

This week saw the PTA AGM take place.  Please see the attached report from our chairperson.  We are always on the lookout for more volunteers - even if you have limited time available to offer - please do make contact with someone in the committee and see how you can help.

Reading Workshop

We are looking to host the first of our workshops for parents next week with the focus being on reading.  If you would like to attend, and we'd love you to, please complete the link here.  Currently we only have 5 people who have responded, therefore it may not be viable to run it.

Big Band

Foxes had a trip to Ipswich School this week to see the BIG BAND.  They had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

Deadlines Next Week:

  • Uniform order deadline on Monday
  • Flu Vaccination consent deadline on Tuesday

Harvest Festival

We are really looking forward to seeing families join us for our Harvest Festival on Thursday at 2:45pm.  The children will be walking to the church after lunch so please ensure they have appropriate school shoes on and a coat.  Please send any donations in with the children in the morning - these will be transported to the church via the minibus.  Please remember ALL children need collecting from the church at 3:15pm - if your child is attending After School Club on that day, please ensure you have notified the office so that we can arrange for them to be transported back to school.

Squirrels will not be doing PE next Thursday so please send them into school in their uniform.

School Council News

We have started thinking about our action plan and what we want to achieve.  We were really pleased to receive our School Council badges and will try and keep you updated each week in the newsletter.
