Copdock Weekly Update 05/05/17

After School Clubs: Unfortunately there hasn’t been a big enough response to the dance club after school on a Tuesday, which means we have sadly had to cancel it.

Cross Country: On Wednesday 16 children from across the federation travelled to East Bergholt High School to participate in the rearranged cross country. Despite it being a little chilly, everyone performed to the best of their abilities in all the events and achieved some fabulous results!

African Children’s Choir: Any of the Key Stage 2 children not involved in the cross country were able to go to Ipswich School to listen to the African Children’s Choir. “It was amazing” was the feedback we received when the children returned to school.

Further to this the African Children’s Choir will be running a child-friendly service at Copdock Church this Sunday 7th from 10-11am so why not pop along, there will be cake available once you have enjoyed the singing!

KS1 Clothing: If any KS1 children have gone home in spare clothes recently, could we please ask that they are washed and returned as soon as possible in case they are needed by another child.

Vegetable Plot: As per the email earlier in the week, if you have any spare vegetable plants that we could use in the school vegetable plot please allow us to take them off your hands. The children have been working hard to clear all the weeds and prepare the beds for planting.

SATS week: Foxes - don’t forget to come in early for your pre-SATs breakfast next week. That will set you up ready to take your assessments. A big thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to be “Chef of the Day”!
